Serving God

June 30, 2021

People asked, why retire early? I answered, I want to retire while I can still run. But seriously, I’m looking at Philippians 3:14, my favorite verse.

When I considered retirement, I think back and remember that our lives are ultimately meant to serve Christ throughout all of our days. Now my paid career comes to an end, I pivot in a new direction, God bless me and my family as I carry on my church ministry.

I strongly believe, the wisdom that comes with age is valuable in living out the faith and making disciples, and we are called to use it and share it.

Financial compensation does not define dignified work. With my retirement, I plan to serve in the church, keep me active in the community in testifying to the gospel.

The key for me is to stay mentally and physically active and serve in the manner that God calls me to.

At some point, I may need to slow down, but I will not cash out to a life of self-seeking leisure. I certainly believe that God wants me to make the most of my days until He calls me home.

From me and family: Salamat sa Inyong lahat. God bless us all.

Retirement

When deciding to retire always put God first to make wise decisions. When you finally do retire remember God is always with you to help and encourage you. Even though you retire from your job being a Christian and serving Christ never stops.

There are many people who retire and for the rest of their lives they use all their free time to play golf and watch TV all day and they talk about the things they used to do for Christ. God did not let you live long enough so you can play golf all day. Use your free time to serve God and advance His kingdom.

Psalm 71:5-9 For you are my hope, Lord God, my security since I was young. I depended on you since birth, when you brought me from my mother’s womb; I praise you continuously. I have become an example to many that you are my strong refuge. My mouth is filled with your praise and your splendor daily. Don’t throw me away when I am old; do not abandon me when my strength fails.

God bless us all.

New Beginning

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.” ~ Psalm 51:10 KJV

As I activate this life messages blog, I pray to the Father to draw me close to His heart. I open up my heart to Him, and I invite Him to search my heart and renew my spirit. I thank God for the work He has done to me. I thank the marvelous Father, and pray for a deep revelation and understanding of the truth. I trust Almighty Father, and I know I can open my heart to Him. I know that His love is unconditional, everlasting love.

God bless us all. Keep safe.

We are chosen people of God

June 27, 2021

Colossians 3:12-14 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long suffering;
13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

From the bible verse, clearly, as chosen people of God, we need to be merciful, kind, humble, meek and forgiving. Above all, we need to be charitable.

we should be thankful that God choosed us.

In all our actions, anywhere, anytime, we should be acting as chosen people of God.

God bless us all keep safe.
