Growing Through Bible Study

       Have you ever wondered why the Bible is the number 1 best seller book in the world?  Why is the Bible the most widely tranlated book on earth today?  The most basic reason is that it has a universal message. This lesson will teach us what the Bible does to a person who reads it regularly and obeys its teaching.

  1. Uniqueness of the Bible (2 Tim 3:16a). 
    1. It’s teaching address the deepest longing and needs of man. 
    2. It is inspired by God. 
    3. No prophetic message ever came from the will of man.
  2. Uses of the Bible (2 Tim 3:14-17). 
    1. It gives us wisdom. 
    2. It leads us to Christ for salvation. 
    3. It teaches, rebuk, correct and train us for righteousness.
  3. Using the Bible profitably (Ps. 119:9-16). 
    1. We must read it in order to be instructed. 
    2. A man must truly long for God if he is to meet HIm through His word. 
    3. A man must study God’s word for a lasting reference. 
    4. The truth we learn from the Bible reading must shared to others.

       Bible knowledge is useless unless it affects a person life.  It should make us grow spiritually and grow socially.  We should all be concern about how we grow.  The Bible provides us with sufficient spiritual power to grow a Christian chartacter.  The Bible the greatest formative influence in our lives.  It was given for our transformation.
